The Caribbean Commons began as the website for the Caribbean Epistemologies Seminar, which I co-led with Herman Bennett (History, CUNY Graduate Center) from Fall 2010-Spring 2012. In addition to archiving information from the CE Seminar, the site has grown to become a resource for announcements about publications, events and other items of interest to Caribbean scholars, particularly those in the Northeast US.
